What SILV Represents
SILV is a modern, XRPL‑based representation of real silver — a digital ounce backed 1:1 by physical metal stored in a U.S. mint.
“Every SILV unit is backed by a physical ounce of vaulted silver.”
- Fully redeemable for physical silver
- Minted only when new silver enters the vault
- Burned only when silver is redeemed
- Transparent, auditable, and supply‑aligned
How SILV Works
The SILV token supply is always synchronized with real metal. When silver enters the vault, tokens are minted. When silver leaves, tokens are burned.
“Silver comes in → tokens mint. Silver goes out → tokens burn.”
- Minting is authorized through a cold issuer wallet
- New SILV is sent to a hot operational wallet for distribution
- Burning occurs only after a verified redemption request
- All events are logged for transparency and auditability
Minting & Burning
Minting and burning are the core mechanisms that keep SILV honest, transparent, and perfectly aligned with real silver inventory.
Minting
- Physical silver is acquired, verified, and logged
- Cold issuer wallet signs a mint authorization
- New SILV is created on the XRPL
- Supply increases only when real silver is added
Burning
- Customer submits a redemption request
- SILV is sent from the customer’s wallet to the redemption address
- Cold issuer wallet signs a burn transaction
- Physical silver is released and shipped
How SILV Tracks Real Silver Prices
SILV stays aligned with real‑world silver pricing through market mechanics, liquidity pools, and redemption arbitrage.
- Arbitrage prevents SILV from falling below spot
- XRPL AMM pools adjust price continuously
- SILV/USDC provides a stable pricing anchor
- SILV/XRP enables fast price discovery
“If SILV ever trades below spot, traders buy it and redeem for physical silver — pulling the price back up.”
Redeemable by Design
SILV is not theoretical silver. It is a claim on real metal stored in a U.S. mint. Customers can redeem SILV for physical ounces at any time.
- Simple online redemption request
- Identity matched to wallet address
- Tokens burned upon redemption
- Silver shipped or picked up in person
