The Core Concept
Redemption ensures that SILV and Bitz are not theoretical or synthetic. They are claims on real silver stored in a U.S. mint. Customers can redeem their digital units at any time through a simple, transparent process.
“Digital silver is only meaningful if it can become physical silver.”
Why Redemption Matters
Redemption is what separates SILV from synthetic silver tokens or unbacked digital assets. It proves that:
- Every token is backed by real metal
- Supply is always aligned with inventory
- Customers can convert digital units into physical ounces
- The ecosystem is grounded in real-world value
Redemption is the ultimate accountability mechanism.
How Redemption Works
The redemption process is designed to be simple, secure, and transparent.
Step 1 — Submit a Redemption Request
The customer fills out a short form with their wallet address and contact information.
Step 2 — Identity Verification
The customer’s identity is matched to their wallet address to prevent fraud and ensure proper release of metal.
Step 3 — Send SILV or Bitz
The customer transfers their tokens to the official redemption address.
Step 4 — Tokens Are Burned
Once received, the tokens are permanently burned, reducing the supply to match the metal leaving the vault.
Step 5 — Silver Is Released
The customer’s silver is prepared for pickup or shipped securely to their home.
Pickup or Shipping
Customers can choose how they want to receive their silver:
- In‑person pickup at the mint
- Secure shipping directly to their home
Both options are fully supported and handled with care.
What Can Be Redeemed
Customers can redeem:
- SILV (1 oz digital silver)
- Digital Bitz (1/10 oz digital silver)
- Physical Bitz (1/10 oz silver pieces)
All units correspond to real metal held in the vault.
Transparency & Trust
Every redemption is logged and reflected in the supply. This ensures:
- Accurate inventory tracking
- Publicly visible burn events
- Full accountability for every ounce
Redemption is the heartbeat of the ecosystem — the proof that digital silver is real silver.
